Rock wool external wall insulation system
Jun 30, 2021
1. Before construction, a special construction plan for energy-saving and thermal insulation for the project should be prepared in accordance with the design and the requirements of this regulation and related technical standards, and the construction personnel should be provided with technical disclosure and professional technical training.
2. The construction of the rock wool board external insulation system for energy-saving insulation projects should be carried out in accordance with the approved construction drawing design documents and the approved special construction plan for energy-saving insulation for the project.
3. The production enterprise of the external thermal insulation system of rock wool board should have professionals to provide on-site guidance during the construction process, and cooperate with the construction unit and on-site supervision to do a good job of construction quality control.
4. Materials entering the site must be inspected and accepted according to specifications, quantity and quality requirements before they can be put into the warehouse, and should be kept by special personnel, and it is strictly forbidden to stack them in the open air. The rock wool panels of the curtain wall should be stacked overhead and moisture-proof.
5. The construction should meet the following conditions:
5.1. The treatment of the base wall and its cement mortar leveling layer and the installation of the embedded parts have been completed.
5.2. Necessary construction machinery and labor protection supplies should be prepared.
5.3. The special scaffolding for construction should be erected firmly and passed the safety inspection. The distance between the scaffolding poles and horizontal poles and the wall and corners should meet the construction requirements.
5.4. The base wall should be solid and flat, the surface should be dry, and there should be no cracking, hollowing, loosening or efflorescence. The bonding strength, flatness and verticality of the cement mortar leveling layer should comply with (Code for Acceptance of Building Decoration Engineering Quality) GB50210 Requirements for the quality of ordinary plastering projects.
6. During the construction of external thermal insulation of rock wool board, the base course and construction environment temperature shall not be constructed when the temperature is lower than 5℃. No construction shall be allowed in strong winds and rain or snow weather above level five. During and after construction, effective measures should be taken to prevent rain erosion and hot sun exposure, and a protective layer should be made in time. In case of sudden rain during construction, measures should be taken to prevent rainwater from washing the walls; during winter construction, anti-freezing measures should be taken in accordance with relevant standards.
7. Before large-scale construction, the same materials, construction methods and craftsmanship should be used on site to make model walls according to regulations, and construction can only be carried out after confirmation by the relevant parties.
8. When using rock wool board for construction, the operator should wear protective equipment, do a good job of occupational health protection, and pay attention to construction safety.
9. The materials that must be inspected for the external thermal insulation system of rock wool board should be sent to a qualified testing agency for testing, and they can be used only after passing the test.
10. The rock wool board should be pasted by strip bonding method or point bonding method, and the glued area should not be less than 50%. After applying the adhesive to the rock wool board, the lower end of the insulation board should be pasted with the base layer. The rock wool board should be laid horizontally from bottom to top, and edge laying and anchoring should be adopted. The board seam should be naturally tight and the gap between the boards It should not be larger than 2mm. If the seam width is 2mm, it should be filled with thermal insulation materials, adjacent boards should be flush, and the height difference between the boards should not be greater than 1.5mm.
11. For all the wall pipelines and components that can reach the rock wool board, the outlet parts should be filled with the same material and then waterproof and sealed.
12. If the veneer layer is found to fall off during the construction process, it should be fixed in time by bonding or anchoring with anchors, and the exterior surface layer construction should be carried out in time.
13. The surface layer construction should meet the following requirements:
13.1. After the rock wool board is pasted, the plaster surface of the board should be surface treated. Use a stainless steel spatula to smear the surface mortar (thickness 1 ~ 1.5mm) and press it into the surface fiber of the rock wool board.
13.2. The plastering glue should be configured in strict accordance with the product instruction manual. The configured adhesive should be protected from direct sunlight and should be used up within 2h.
13.3. The wiping layer is divided into two layers. The thickness of a layer of plastering glue is 2~3mm. It should be plastered with a stainless steel serrated spatula first, then smoothed with a large spatula, and pressed into the glass fiber mesh cloth while it is wet, and install it when the glue is slightly dry and hard to touch. For anchors, use plastering glue to seal the plastic discs of anchors and their surroundings; one layer of plastering mortar can be used to dry the second layer of plastering mortar, the thickness is about 2mm, smoothing and making the thickness of the plastering layer meet the design requirements .
13.4. The laying of the mesh cloth should be smooth, straightened, and maintain the squareness and verticality of the Yin and Yang angles. There should be overlap between the top and bottom, left and right sides of the mesh, and the overlap width should not be less than 100mm; glass fiber mesh cloth It shall not be directly laid on the surface of the rock wool board, nor shall it be exposed or dry lapped.
13.5. The installation of anchors should be drilled with percussion drills or electric hammers according to the design requirements. The drilling depth should be greater than the anchoring depth 10mm. During installation, the anchor nails should be knocked or screwed into the wall, and the disc should be close to the first layer. Mesh cloth, and cover the disc and its periphery with plastering glue in time.
