The thermal insulation performance of rock wool insulation board has always been very good, especially at normal temperature, its thermal insulation performance is much better than that of additional insulation board. In addition, rock wool has a good thermal insulation effect, but the following points should be paid attention to in the construction of rock wool insulation board:
1. The facilities and air ducts required for heating should be free of leakage, and the surface should be dry and free of grease. Under this condition, it will not rust and root, which is conducive to anti-corrosion, and the coating can be appropriate.
2. In order to reduce the heat loss of fittings, panels and felts for various purposes, they must be close to the bridge abutments, and their multi-layer insulation joints should be staggered to avoid thermal bridges and cold bridges.
3. Rock wool insulation is suitable for outdoor use or parts susceptible to mechanical wear, such as metal or plastic sheaths of items, pay attention to the sealing of seams and seams. If necessary, sealant can be added, and the sealing layer of the lap joint shall not be less than 100mm.
4. Cold vapor barriers must be protected at low temperatures. Under extremely low temperature, the rock wool board has no resin insulation, and the moisture-proof layer is fireproof.
5. When the temperature exceeds 200°C, keep the appropriate outer sheath added so that it cannot change the thickness and bulk density through expansion.
6. For flat wall or rock wool insulation board products of large-diameter equipment, heat insulation nails above 200°C should be added, and the outer sheath (spacing 400mm) should be closely aligned.
7. When the thermal insulation object is placed vertically, it has a considerable height, and the thermal insulation layer must have positioning pins or bearing rings with a spacing of less than 3m to prevent the thermal insulation material from slipping off during vibration.
8. Outdoor insulation and cold construction shall not be carried out in the rain, or there shall be countermeasures.
The use of rock wool boards may not be good if the building insulation and rock wool boards are not handled properly.
