More Understanding, One More Choice, Glass Wool Board

The use of thermal insulation materials for the wall can improve the thermal insulation performance of the wall, and it is also one of the effective measures for energy saving and emission reduction. At present, there are several thermal insulation methods, such as external thermal insulation of thin plastered external walls, internal thermal insulation of external walls, and external thermal insulation of external walls. There are also many kinds of thermal insulation materials, such as rock wool board, glass wool board, rubber plastic, extruded plastic board, etc.
To achieve low carbon and environmental protection, higher energy saving efficiency is still required. Under the ever-increasing building energy-saving standards, thermal insulation projects frequently fall off, chalk, and have poor fire performance.
Glass wool is made of quartz sand, limestone, dolomite and other natural ores as the main raw materials, combined with some soda ash, borax and other chemical raw materials to melt into glass. Glass wool overcomes the problems that traditional thermal insulation materials are easy to bulge and fall off, and the vacuum degree can be maintained for a longer time. The thermal conductivity can be less than 0.04W/(㎡k), which has good thermal insulation performance; the fire rating reaches Class A, with strong flame retardant performance; high tensile strength, chemical stability, and strong wind pressure resistance.
The thickness of glass wool can be customized on demand, which is lighter and thinner than other traditional insulation materials, which can save a lot of space for buildings. Glass wool not only has the performance of thermal insulation in buildings, but also can be made into roll felt shape, which is used for steel structure buildings, greenhouses for breeding equipment, sound absorption of KTV hotels, and thermal insulation of factory roofs. It is also no problem for energy saving and emission reduction.
