Introduction:
Fiber glass insulation wool is composed of elongated inorganic fibers bonded together by a high-temperature adhesive. These fibers (each with a diameter of about 6-7 microns) are distributed in it to capture millions of tiny air pockets, making it excellent in heat and sound insulation. The light weight of glass wool also has significant advantages during transportation and installation. In addition, glass wool is chemically inert and does not contain impurities such as iron particles, sulfur and chlorides. The product is non-corrosive to metals, and mold cannot grow. It is made of renewable raw materials, environmentally friendly and reliable.
In large spaces such as gymnasiums and workshops, in order to absorb sound and reduce noise, sound absorbing bodies with centrifugal glass wool as the main sound absorbing material are often used. The sound absorber can be made into a plate, column, cone or other special-shaped body according to requirements. The inside of the sound absorber is filled with centrifugal glass wool, and the surface is wrapped with a sound-permeable surface layer. Since the sound absorber has multiple surfaces to absorb sound, the sound absorption efficiency is very high.
Fiber glass insulation wool forms products of various thicknesses and densities. It comes in the form of rolls and plates with or without aluminum foil.
