Silica Aerogel Insulation Blanket

Silica aerogel insulation blanket is a kind of flexible aerogel thermal insulation felt in which aerogel is compounded in a flexible substrate through a special process. Suitable for high temperature application environment up to 650℃. The thermal insulation performance is more than 5 times that of traditional thermal insulation products, and it is safety class A (smoke-free), non-flammable, environmentally friendly, flexible and easy to install.

The thermal conductivity of Silica aerogel insulation blanket is low, at room temperature: about 0.02 w/(m*k), even lower than the thermal conductivity of air.

3. More and wider space utilization

Due to the low thermal conductivity, the same insulation effect can be achieved with a thinner insulation thickness. Generally, the installation thickness is about 80% thinner than traditional insulation products.

4. Safe and non-flammable (smoke-free), Class A

The combustion performance level meets the requirements of the combustion performance level specified in GB8624-2012, and the fire protection is Class A.

5. Green and environmental protection

It does not contain chlorides, does not contain halogens, and can be used for landfill disposal. It has passed EU RoHS testing.

6. Flexible, light and easy to install

It is easy to cut, not easy to deform, and has less loss, which is particularly conducive to installation. Disassembly is also simple, and downtime can be reduced during periodic maintenance without the need to purchase alternative insulation materials.

7. Hydrophobic and breathable

Water-repellent, the water-repellent rate reaches 99.8%, but it allows steam to escape, which helps to keep the equipment drier and longer. Enhance the protection against corrosion under the insulation layer, so that it has a longer service life.
